This small weatherboard dwelling was built around 1889 by the Wallarah Coal-mining Company to house its mineworkers.
Charlie and Mrs Grey were the first remembered tenants.
Tom and Thel Mcdougall were the next occupants.
In 1964 the Coal Company ‘Coal & Allied’ subdivided some of its land. This house and land was determined to be purchased for 260 pounds by Mr T McDougall.
The land measured 32 feet across and 132 feet long.
House has been onsold twice. Current owners bought the small 3.6 metre wide house and opened up all the rooms inside to make it one living area and added a deck and bifolds.
